Claude User Claims He Was Charged €500 Without Using It

Yesterday, I shared my opinion on the AI billing issue. Today, I have a real example of how Claude can quietly eat your money. A person named LoyalWallaby9377 posted on Facebook about how he was charged even after he stopped using Claude. According to him, he stopped using Claude on June 6, but on June 9, he received multiple invoice notifications. When he added them up, the total was around 500 euros. The payment was made through his sister’s Mastercard. But here’s the main point: he says he did not even use Claude during that time frame. Still, the bills kept coming. Now LoyalWallaby9377 is trying to get that money back through his post.

This is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. AI tools are powerful, no doubt, but when billing is unclear, confusing, or uncontrolled, then the user is the one who gets trapped. One day, you think you are just testing an AI tool, and the next day, you are staring at a bill that makes you question your whole life.

‼️I need help it’s really emergency

On 6th june I brought claude but after that I just used for once then I didn’t use it. But from 9th june I am getting a lot of invoices and they transitioned almost more than 500 euro from me as I purchased it with my sisters mastercard. I didn’t use it for once how is that possible then? How can I get my money back please someone help me .”
